Our language development program targets multiple goals:

They learn 71 phonograms (26 are the alphabet, 55 phonemes by sound)
They learn cursive writing, which facilitates neurological connections that facilitate reading
25 rules of the English language are taught, establishing patterns in the brain for future ease of reading

We also emphasize reading and public speaking:

Classical literature read aloud and stressed
Comprehension taught and tracked through daily assessments

My five-year-old daughter has been attending the Montessori school for over a year now in that time she has Learned how to read and perform simple math. Her progress is truly amazing. Her success is a testament to the teaching methods and curriculum, and most importantly her amazing teachers! I could not be more satisfied with my experience!

This school has taught my boys SO much! They are really smart. My 6 yr old can read better than some 10 yr olds. Crazy! But awesome. All the teachers are really friendly and are really great teachers. It took a while to find food for my boys that they could eat at school because the lunch is restrictive. But apparently it's like that in a few private schools. We will keep coming here as long as it all keeps going well. The Montessori style of teaching is the best

I am the parent of a child on the autism spectrum. After three years of doing our very best to succeed in a public school setting, we finally started to question whether there was a school where our child would thrive academically and socio-emotionally. After researching Montessori schools, we decided to try the Montessori Learning Center. Our child has been in this school for close to 2 months, and the difference in her engagement and learning has been tremendous. We are so pleased with the results and the excellent teachers and children in our daughter's class. Class sizes are much smaller than those in a public school setting, and learning is very structured, both very important to an autistic child. I definitely recommend this school.
