I teach our younger elementary students reading, writing, and math, with a particular passion for language — how children come to understand words and use them thoughtfully in everyday speech and writing. I also love teaching cursive, a core part of our curriculum, and watching students take pride in developing this skill.

My own love of language extends beyond the classroom: I served a mission in Denmark and am fluent in Danish, and I’m currently studying Russian at Utah Valley University. My students know me as someone who makes learning fun and lighthearted, while staying dedicated and consistent when it comes to their progress.
